Dovetail has built-in single sign-on capabilities for Google and Microsoft accounts, and the option to configure your own managed identity provider as a single sign-on authentication option for Dovetail enterprise workspaces.
All Dovetail workspaces include single sign-on authentication via OAuth 2.0 for Google and Microsoft accounts. If a user provisions their account via OAuth 2.0, they'll never need to set a password to log in with Dovetail.
On Dovetail enterprise workspaces, you can bring your organization's identity provider to integrate with directly with Dovetail. Using your own organization's identity allows you to delegate authentication and provisioning to your source of truth to increase security and onboard employees faster.
This feature is only available on our enterprise plan. Enterprise workspaces come with additional features and support to meet your organization’s needs. Check out our pricing page for more information on enterprise.
Dovetail supports the OpenID Connect protocol for configuring single-sign on with your organization's identity. OpenID Connect is supported by leading identity providers such as Okta, Azure AD, Google Cloud Identity, Idaptive, Microsoft ADFS, OneLogin, Centrify, and more.
